Proven Performance
The Modern Astragal updates the appearance of the traditional Flip-Lever, PanoLock+, and Trilennium Compatible Astragals, using the same internal components as the traditional Ultimate Astragal product line.
Extended sealing power comes from a Spring-Loaded Floating Boot, Simple Solution Corner Pad, PE650 Weatherstrip, and full-length sealing fin to protect against air and water. A simple one-flip operation is all that’s needed to secure the inactive door keeping leaks at bay.
Modern Ultimate Astragal Features:
No Reaching or Bending
Most astragals require the homeowner to reach and bend to lock and unlock the astragal. The Flip Lever Astragal’s built-in Flip Lever locks and unlocks the astragal in one easy motion for Enhanced Accessibility and ultimate satisfaction.
Flip Lever Down
Activates both bolts. The Spring-loaded Floating Boot securely seals, independently of the bolt, against the sill to fight air and water infiltration.
Flip Lever Up
Retracts both bolts. The Spring-loaded Floating Boot lifts clear of the sill, preventing wear and damage
